Goodbye to an Old Friend and CollaboratorTom Clancy,  May He Rest In Peace!!!

By now,   most of you have heard about the untimely death of Tom Clancy,  my old friend and collaborator of over thirty novels and non-fiction books.
Many things can be said about him.
But probably the most important image that I would want to convey about him is that he was a great friend,  a phenomenal story-teller  and one very funny guy.
Unbeknownst to most of his reading public is the fact that he was an extremely funny,  comfortable down-to-earth man who loved to joke around all the time.
When I wanted to act more impetuously on some course of action,  he would always remind me of the old bull and young bull.   If the young bull runs into the herd,  he will only get a few  heiferettes.   Whereas,  if we wait,  like the old bull,  we will round up the whole herd of female cows.
He was a simple man in demeanor and composure.   He hated pretense of any kind.   He knew that he had a talent for writing stories;  but he never considered himself a ‘literary genius’ awaiting some NY Times Book Review pronouncements.
He began as an insurance salesman on the Chesapeake Bay and wrote The Hunt For Red October as a sideline.   In the beginning,  no one took him seriously except the Naval Institute Press who published his first novel.    When I was introduced to that novel during the Reagan era,   I thought that whoever wrote it must have been a submarine commander and Soviet intelligence expert.

  Boy,  was I wrong!
I first met him because he had wanted to meet a ‘hostage negotiator’.   In that first introduction,   I saw a man who had no Top Secret Clearance and had never been to the Soviet Union.   Yet he knew a lot more than he should have known  considering he had never been in the USG.    I needed to know how did he know so much about Soviet subs and more importantly the Soviet mentality???   When I asked him,  he simply replied,  “I asked my insurance clients,  who had been submarine commanders about their experiences.”
Needless to say,   I was very much impressed.
Remember folks,  this was the time before Google/Wikipedia or any other digital information.  (BGW).

I remember the time when Tom went out to Hollywood with me to convince one of the ‘suits’ –now a major CEO—to develop a pilot TV show called, "The White House".   The ‘suit’ replied in this automaton voice that this subject would never interest the American public.
Tom replied very courteously:  “I may not be the greatest writer in America;  but  I certainly have a very strong knack for knowing what my audience wants.”    Needless to say the ‘suit’ passed on it,  and the show subsequently appeared in another guise as ‘West Wing’ by some other author.
There are many tales and personal reflections I can share with you but I would like to mention several names of professionals who had helped Tom and me on our road to a very successful partnership.

First and foremost,   I want to thank Carl LaGreca for all the assistance he gave to the  financial entities that both Tom and I shared.    Then I would like to thank the Publisher who made this all possible—Phyllis Grann,  former CEO,  President of Berkley Putnam.   Our editors—Tom Colgan and others who had made our manuscripts better and better.
I am certain that Tom would have like to thank our writers and collaborators,  Jeff RovinLarry SeigriffSteve Perry and the man who is no longer with us-  Marty Greenberg who made the Net Force series such a grand success.
I know that Tom would have been pleased that St Martin’s Press will publish his next Op Center novel in May called,  Out of The Ashes  about the present war in Syria,  Iran and Saudi Arabia.    He and I were always concerned about the dangerous plight of the Christians in the Middle East and what would happen to them  if they had been caught in the crossfire of Shi’ite –Sunni wars.   Tom was always prescient with his strategic foresights.

So long partner!
Tell the people up there some of your great stories.
I am sure you will make them laugh…. and …
  Cry!
  Amen!!

  1. Tom Clancy was a heavy smoker, and I suspect it may have contributed to his early parting.

In Korea and Japan many if not most MDs are smokers too. My cardiologist here in Austin is Korean and he's a heavy smoker.

In Korea and Japan there's almost no lung cancer, or other cancers linked to tobacco use.

For a long time many have assumed that it must be genetic, but now it appears that the reason is the high vitamin D levels in the Japanese and Korean diet.

After I was diagnosed with cancer in 2006 I chose to have a very minimal surgery which I knew would not remove all the malignancy. However thereafter I supplimented with vitamin D3 and made other dietary changes. The remaining cancer cells did spread, but only very slowly compared to how they'd been growing before. After five years of this very slow growing I finally finished them all off with an immuostimulant which is not approved for use in the US [but many MDs are now using themselves]. That was the end of that cancer.

Cancerous cells happen normally in various parts of the body everyday. They are usually killed off by over a dozen different mechanisms and the cancersous cells therefore do not develop into colonies or tumors or metastacies.

Only when these cancer-suppressive systems fail does cancer remain alive and spread.

It appears now that vitamin D insufficiency in the American diet, coupled with lack of sun exposure, may be the major cause of the breakdown of cancer-suppressive mechanisms.

    1. After my surgery the remaining cancerous cells spread only in a small area where there was almost no blood supply.

Whenever the cells reached a capillary or blood they were being killed off by cancer-suppressive elements in the blood, which was totally different than what had happened before my D3 supplimentation and other changes.

We watched this process go on for five years - the cancerous cells grew everywhere they could until they reached a blood supply, and then died.

That was the reverse of what happens in patients who have cancers which spread.

In my opinion sun exposure every few days is a must, but supplimentation is ok if sun is unavailable.

A recent Harvard study linked skin cancer to vitamin D insufficiency, so if your MD tells you to use sunscreen and to stay out of the sun tell him to read up or jump in the lake.

Sun exposure on a regular basis is cancer-protective.

People get skin cancer when they get occassional sun burns and then stay out of the sun for long periods and develop vitamin D insufficiency.

A person fully nude for twenty minutes in moderate sun will produce 20,000 units of vitamin D which will be stored by the body and used for many days.

Just get some sun somewhere every few days and you'll be protected.

    3. Another thing which can save someone from cancer once diagnosed is to not panick or get stressed.

What happens to most cancer patients is that their diagnosis scares them and then cordisone, adrenaline and other stress hormones kick in and suppress their immune systems even more.

This stress and the resulting immune suppression causes the cancer to spread rapidly, and the faster it spreads the more fear the patents feels, spiraling downward.

I know it's hard to do, but if you take your diagnosis with the attitude that you know what you're doing and you are going to been fine you WILL BE OKAY.

It's hard to do for many people, but just remember that allowing your stress levels to go up, or to become depressed, will not help you can save your life.

Like all other life-threatening conditions it's the stress and fear which prevents a solution.

If you can just don't be stressed by the diagnosis. Stay calm and confident.

    4. And remember that EVERYONE HAS CANCER CELLS LIVING IN THEIR BODY.

Just because you have some cancer cells doesn't mean anything bad is going to happen.

Don't let it stress you or cause you to panic,

They're your own cells after all.

    5. The reason why Nordic peoples evolved light skin is so they could absorb more frequencies of light to produce vitamin D.

The Nordics' ancestors were dark-skinned and needed the protective qualities the melanin provided. However these levels of melanin make it difficult to absorb enough light when in northern latitudes, so only the lighter-skinned among them survived to pass on their lighter-skinned genes.

This may be why Africans have such high cancer rates in north America - because they need a whole lot more sun exposure to make sufficient vitamin D and they're not getting it living indoors.

    6. Which immune stimulant do many MDs use themselves? I've heard of a clinic in Freeport Bahamas using protein chemistry to bolster the immune response and actually met a breast cancer survivor that lived another 15 years after being given up by U.S. doctors and institutions. She even had mets to her spine before she went to the clinic in the Bahamas. And like you MIT, she too stressed outdoor (sunlight) activity and would hike the trails in the hills behind her house with her Doberman for many years thereafter, ironically even outliving her American Oncologist who gave her only months to live.

    7. Medicine is full of cases of stage 3 or even 4 cancers with spontaneous remission.

The most famous case is that of Dr. Lorraine Day, who was the Chief of Emergency Medicine at San Francisco General Hospital.

Look her up and see the pics of huge tumors which after her improvised "natural" treatment completely dissappeared.

She's a little nuts, always has been, but there's no denying her recovery. She stresses daylight exposure and high mineral containing natural vegetables in bulk.

Conventional medicine has linked minerals to cancer suppression.

I'm not convinced of the benefits of extra vitamin supplimentation [except for D] if the diet is sound.

However I'm skeptical that even a good diet today can provide sufficient minerals because of the way most foods are grown and distributed.

I favor mineral supplimentation as a precaution.

    8. DEATH OF VO NGUYEN GIAP

      REPORTEDLY DIED AT AGE 102

Vo Nguyen Giap will go down in history not only as a person who ate a healthy diet and lived a long life free of cancer, but he was also a third-world intellectual and military genius.

      First he defeated the French
Then he defeated the United States
Then he fought off the Chinese and attacked the Khmer Rouge

He took on the greatest powers and defeated them all because of his good judgement and the fact that his people had no choice other than victory or enslavement.

Giap was outraged and motivated by the extreme brutality of the French, and then America's torturing, raping, murdering pupet regime of the Diem brothers who ruled with South Vietnam through terror until they were both murdered in a coup in 1963.

    9. The American people were told that South Vietnam was a small ally under attack from a foreign communist power, but this is the opposite of the truth.

The truth is that no anti-communist government of Saigon could defeat the communists because 90% of the South Vietnamese people were loyal communists.

Not only was it the communists in the South which defeated the French, but there was another principle reason why all the people of the South were united against anti-communism.

      LAND

Vietnam was a feudal society in which a few land owers owned all the land which was farmed by tenants living generation after generation in dire poverty in the villages.

It was AN AMERICAN LIE that farmers owned their own land and "just wanted to be left alone from both sides to farm their land in peace."

This was the opposite of the truth.

All the farmers wanted the communsts to win so that the land would be distributed to them and THEY COULD BECOME ENTREPREURS.

When the communists took over in the North they seized all the land from the feudal, absent land owners and the people who'd been working it for a thousand years now owned it for the first time.

This is the simple reason why the people of the South would NEVER GIVE UP, and why there was nothing the US could do to defeat them.

Another reason why the people of the south were opposed to the anti-communists and America was because of the brutality, the constant rape of girls, the electrical torture, the murders and killing, all at the hands of the Americans and their allies of criminals, many of which came directly from the South Vietnamese prison system.

The US recruited rapists, murderers and sociopaths from the prison system to "police" the countryside.

Aside from these criminals the only fighters the Americans had were the Hill Tribes, who were brutal killers who would kill any Vietnamese they came across merely over their tribal grievances.

  4. When I had my cancer my MDs were really dire about it, and they criticized me because they thought I wasn't taking it seriously enough. They criticized me for not letting them do more surgery.

It was I actually against their attitudes and "recommendations," as I was intent on remaining confident, NOT over-reacting, and taking things just one step at a time.

In the end everything worked out just fine.

  5. I believe Tom Clancy had a rich, satisfying life. And part of that life was the hard, hard work it took to complete his writing. Hard work is necessary for a satisfying life.

  6. There is more to this story- what revisions were in his Syria narrative?
If he is cremated, that speaks volumes.
Investigative reporter Michael Hastings who exposed mccrystal & was writing an expose on Brennan for rolling stone was just cremated without family knowledge.
Andrew Breitbart, Big bamboozle Philip Marshall all died untimely.
Marshall knew all about CIA drug running with Barry Seal who was hit on a sidewalk in New Orleans in broad daylight.

Gary Webb j. Orlon Grabbe* truthttellers all.

I suspect Seymour hersh's days are numbered as he is about to publish an expose.

Unless we rid ourselves of Obama & his moat protector --BRENNAN these UNTIMELY COINCIDENCES WILL CONTINUE.
    DIDNT HITLER BEHAVE THIS WAY?

Clancy died suddenly. I say it was POISON-shutting down HIS ORGANS.

Dr. P. If you suddenly develop tinnitus, the first symptom you are an endangered species, then IT IS MANDATORY YOU go PUBLIC ASAP-- this website alone will not be enough.

    1. * Orlin is the reporter who has covered Charles "Chuckie" Hayes, Michael Riconosciuto, The Promis Software and its infamous back door better than anyone.

Orlin said that when the Canadians recently broke the story about the back door of Promis, Michael Riconoscuito was put in to solitary.
Charles Hayes is in prison also. Charles was charged with soliciting to have his son murdered.
Charles Hayes is the man who was draining the stolen money bank accounts of our esteemed leaders. He was using a Cray computer that was in a truck. The truck was always on the move. I don't know if the Feds got the truck also.

About the same time all this was going on, Dr. Cray, the inventor of the Cray computer had an automobile accident and mysteriously died -- after it appeared he was going to be all right -- shades of Princess Di's death

No one ever heard about Dr. Cray's death because Jon Benet Ramsey was murdered the next day (or there abouts) and in the same area.

Jon Benet and Dr. Cray were murdered in December of 1996 -- In November of that same year, RMNews sources told us that there were now three versions of the Promis software... there are more now. They also told us that they were getting ready to sell the new versions of Promis to the same people who already owned Promis. This was being done in order to keep the Israeli's and the United States from being able to get into the very computers that the Promis software was supposed to keep them out of.

One of the new versions of the Promis software was called Salman -- pronounced like the man's name -- not the fish. At the time I was given this information I was told that just knowing the name could get me killed.
Shortly after I released the new name of one of the new versions of Promis, Dr. Cray was murdered and Jon Benet was murdered. I have often wondered if there was a connection between all three things. Does anyone know what kind of computer company John Ramsey runs? Could he have been working on the new versions of Promis? I know he was with Navy Intelligence in the Phillipines and the new versions of Promis were being developed by men who had been Navy Intelligence at about the same time John Ramsey was.

      J. Orlin Grabbe, 60, a former member of the Worldwide Church of God, died unexpectedly at his home in San Jose, Costa Rica, on or about March 15, 2008, of an apparent heart attack.

Mr. Grabbe, who was born in Hale County, Texas, in 1947, graduated from Ambassador College, Pasadena, Calif., in 1970 and the University of California at Berkeley in 1976. He earned his Ph.D. in economics from Harvard University in 1981.
Mr. Grabbe researched, and questioned, the official versions of controversial events, including the attacks on the World Trade Center in 2001 and the death in 1993 of Vince Foster, deputy White House counsel during the Clinton administration.

For example, Mr. Grabbe concluded that Mr. Foster was murdered rather than committed suicide. See his article at tinyurl.com/6o3u6t.

Another article by Mr. Grabbe is "When Osama Bin Laden Was Tim Osman," at tinyurl.com/ac5j4.

Although not mentioned in the Wikipedia article, some Internet sources refer to Mr. Grabbe as having worked as a young man for the U.S. Central Intelligence Agency.

A slogan at the top of the homepage of Mr. Grabbe's now-inactive site declared that "opposition to tyrants is obedience to God."

..."Meeting Riconosciuto and Gunderson at the hotel were two representatives of the mujahadeen, waiting to discuss their armament needs. One of the two was named "Ralph Olberg." The other one was called Tim Osman (or Ossman).

"Ralph Olberg" was an American businesman who was leading the procurement of American weapons and technology on behalf of the Afghan rebels. He worked through the Afghan desk at the U.S. State Department, as well as through Senator Hubert Humphrey's office. Olberg looked after the Afghanis through a curious front called MSH—Management Sciences for Health.

The other man, dressed in Docker's clothing, was not a native Afghan any more than Olberg was. He was a 27-year-old Saudi. Tim Osman (Ossman) has recently become better known as Osama Bin Laden. "Tim Osman" was the name assigned to him by the CIA for his tour of the U.S. and U.S. military bases, in search of political support and armaments.

Gunderson and Riconosciuto were not on an altruistic mission. They had some conditions for their help. And they had some bad news to deliver. The mujahadeen needed to be willing to test new weapons in the field and to return a research report, complete with photos.

The bad news was that some factions of the CIA didn't feel that Oldberg and Osman's group were the real representatives of the Afghans. Upon hearing this both Tim and Ralph were indignant. They wanted to mount a full-court press. Round up other members of their group and do a congressional and White House lobbying effort in Washington, D.C.

Did the lobbying effort take place? I don't know. There is some evidence that Tim Osman and Ralph Oldberg visited the White House. There is certainty that Tim Osman toured some U.S. military bases, even receiving special demonstrations of the latest equipment. Why hasn't this been reported in the major media?
...If the war against Osama Bin Laden (Tim Osman) is not a total fraud, then what is Michael Riconosciuto doing in prison? Why doesn't he have an office next to Colin Powell so he can give realistic advice on Bin Laden's thinking? And where is Ralph Olberg?'

  9. While we're on the topic of cancer let me urge any women out there who have the "breast cancer gene" to not let any surgeon cut your breasts off just because you have that gene.

It's a crime, or should be, to cut off perfectly healthy tissue of any kind when there's no reason to think it's diseased in any way.

Just because 90% of American women with that gene have developed breast cancer doesn't mean you will.

There is no reason to think that you will not be among the ten percent who never develop cancer of the breast.

If you live a lifestyle that's cancer-resistant and check your breasts regularly then even if you do discover a cancer it can be treatable at that stage, but it's more than possible you will never develop cancer.

I'm not an authority on how to live a cancer-resistant lifestyle, but in my personal opinion I think it may include:

    1.avoid being vitamin D deficient
2.avoid high carbohydrate foods, and in later life avoid carbs altogether
3.avoid chronic stress over long periods - that means don't work at any job where you have take stimulants like coffee, or you feel you have to amp yourself up or get adrenaline going every day just to do a job.
4.Get regular exercise to keep your insulin system working properly
5.Get enough sleep no matter what, and once again avoid any fatigue over long periods

Avoid anything that will cause stress hormones or insulin to be abnormal for long periods.

Working a 3rd shift job for years and eating too many carbs is what caused my cancer to spread.

Once I stopped living and eating that way and took vitamin D the cancer stopped spreading in any meaningful way.
